Alister Benn Thanks Daniel - It is a combination of the Polariser and of course relative luminosity. With any image like this, holding the exposure in the highlights is very important, the sky is relatively darker than the ice.
At high altitude, polarisers really do darken skies quite dramatically.

Daniel Arenas mmm... I agree with Stephen, another great review.
I'm not fond of e-books because there are many of them with poor quality in the Net but Rafa told me that these one was very great (his exactly words were "content is king" and I also want to learn about night photography so...Please let me know when you have it translated to Spanish. I'm sure I will learn a lot!
