Raquel de Castro La luz y la atmósfera en esta escena es maravillosa Serban, magnífica invernal!!!

Serban Simbotelecan Thank you, Raquel. Surprisingly, it wasn't an image I took in consideration too much first time. At the moment I took the images, the moments were indeed very beautiful and the light was dramatic, but coming home I didn't find the inspiration how to convey the feeling sensed in that place. It seems that only after three weeks I was in the mood to put that in a final image. ;-)

Serban Simbotelecan Finally some nice colors in the winter, in the mountains. You can check them in the two images from my latest addition to the portfolio.

Serban Simbotelecan In one of my last trips I had few moments where I was able to shot in a strong contrast scene lighted by the the sunrise light filtered by some clouds. It's very beautiful to was such a scene in person and the photographed scene have such an unreal look. You can check few images on a gallery on my website.

I appreciate also if you let me know if you liked some image in particular.

PS. It seems that I cannot attach correctly the link:

Kerstin Langenberger Thank you for your kind comment, Serban, I really do appreciate your words!
I just had a look at the link above - the light situation was really stunning, indeed! Such a wonderful combination of the colourful autumn leaves and the beautiful landscape in warm light... Congrats! My favorite of those is not the one you uploaded on Whytake but the first one in the gallery above. Well done and thanks for sharing!

Serban Simbotelecan Thank you very much, Kerstin, for leaving your thoughts and impressions. Same here, I appreciate your words very much!
My preferences are shifting between the one you mentioned and the one in thumbnail here (this one because of the panting appearance). But I really care about hearing others' preferences.

Serban Simbotelecan Updated my portfolio with some images from a trip in Norway from this summer where we were looking for the midnight sun :-)
Re-uploaded a image already posted, as I improved my editing process for presenting the images for web.
I hope you will enjoy them!

rafael rojas Yes Serban, it is always difficult when you try to fix the sticks of the tent into the ground and you sink your whole arm into the moss...:):)

Serban Simbotelecan :-)) Rafael, that would be fine if it would be only that. :-) But I'm putting a ground sheet beneath the tent for protection which is impermeable. If you get water between the tent and sheet in case of a rain, the water stays there and moisture passes in the end into the tent, even though I have a very good tent. And the moss was full of water :-)

Serban Simbotelecan Updated my portfolio with my favorite image from my recent trip in Lofoten, Norway.

This scene revealed to our eyes late in the night-morning, after we were driving all night in rain, in the search of an interesting place. Then we came to this "hidden" place, very close to the road. We took the tripods out and waited. I knew that "something" is about to happen after the rain will stop.

Serban Simbotelecan Thank you Rafael, Sandra!
That's the one, Rafael :). I wanted to spend more time there after we "discovered" the place, but somehow we didn't managed to do that in the end.

rafael rojas It was a very intimate and gorgeous place, me too I bumped into it and "killed" my itinerary to spend a couple of days there. Not as dramatic as many other places, but so full of intimacy...That is why I recognized the place immediately! I am glad you found it ;-)

Serban Simbotelecan Crovuri is a place from Mehedinti Mountains in Romania and it is one of my favorite location in the mountains, even if the mountains are low in altitude, only around 1000m. It is also a favorite location for shooting there in the autumn.

Serban Simbotelecan I uploaded one image from a photo trip where I had to bivouac in November in order to catch the sunrise; the camping is allowed only in the designated places in the Retezat National Park from Romania.

juanli sun Wow, What a beautiful location to vivouac and taking this amazing sunrise image.
The characteristic of the ridge are on fire contrast with the cold blue and purple just beautiful.

Serban Simbotelecan Thank you, Juanli. I would want to come back there in the winter, but on the ridge there can be a little hazardous. Not of a high difficulty, but still needs caution and experience in the winter.
