I'm emerging from a long photographic hibernation and adding some new images. This one my be my favorite of the entire year, the last moments of light in 2012 on the cliffs of New Mexico's Sandia Mountains.

And for my portfolio, here's my personal favorite of 2011. My time this summer in the Nevada backcountry was a real treat, it's quite possibly the most underrated region of the American West.
