I am of the opinion that Scotland offers some of the finest landscapes in the world, and perhaps as a Scot I am biased! Delicate summer light verges on the intense, but still manages to be a calm s

Whytake Dear All,

When we launched Whytake.net in 2011 we set a Portfolio Limit on 48 Images. In 2012, as a result if such excellent quality, we derestricted the Portfolio and allowed unlimited uploads.

We have seen a considerable drop in the overall quality of images being uploaded and are reinstating a 100 image limit on all portfolios with immediate effect.

If your portfolio contains more than 100 images, can you please delete them to bring your portfolio down to the required size.

If after a week this has not been done, whytake.net reserves the right to manually delete images from your portfolios to comply. Once you have a maximum of 100 images if you want to add more, you will need to delete an older images in order to upload a new one. This is not coded and we rely on you to adhere to these guidelines. Should be find portfolios with more than 100 images, again, we will manually delete images to bring the number down to the required 100 maximum.

From 2nd May 2015, whytake.net no longer accepts applications from photographers for activation codes, we will send activation code with invitation emails.

We have manually deleted a large number of members on the basis of inactivity or lack of interaction with the community. For recent updates to our Terms & Conditions, please refer to items 8b.

8b: We reserves the right to delete any members account or newly registered account without consultation for for following reasons:

I: Prolonged inactivity - Your recent log in ; very little activity - Numbers of login

II: No activities on your profile, such as subscribe to other members to interact with the community , or if no images were contributed for the Inspire Section.

Once membership has been deleted, your profile and images are no longer stored on the Whytake.net server.

Monitoring and deleting profiles is an ongoing process.

It has always been our intention to provide a community that inspires - the above changes are simply intended to continue with that pursuit of excellence.

Many thanks for your continued support and understanding.
