It's been so long since I posted I had to refresh my memory as to the rules and guidelines. :-)
The warm weather has caused this ice sheet to fissure as it thaws and refreezes. I liked the lines, both straight and curved, and the overall pattern.

The edge of an ice sheet as warm weather created some interesting lines and patterns.

This is a very easily accessed viewpoint that is apparently rarely photographed. I was a little late arriving and expected to witness little, yet was rewarded with a few moments of lovely light.

Sandra Schaenzer I'm usually not so fond of black backgrounds with delicate flowers but like it in your shot because the Lady's slippers blossom is white and the dark background makes it stand out. Very nice, Steve!

Stephen Gingold Thanks Sandra. I'm usually not a fan of black backgrounds either. Thanks to our friends at WhyTake, if I print this it will have to be matted in black as the background looks even better surrounded by "Lights Off".
